Melcor Announces its Implementation of Integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software Solution

Trenton, NJ, USA, April 2002 - Melcor Corporation, announces it has reached an agreement with Pivital Solutions, Inc., a provider of consulting and services for HP 3000 users and partner Software Innovation, a leading provider of CRM and other front office applications software, to implement CRM, a new integrated software solution that will help support their customer-facing business processes and integrate with their HP GrowthPower ERP systems. The solution features tailored processes unique to Melcor's needs and integration to key production systems including GrowthPower on the HP 3000.

The agreement allows Melcor to expand their customer-centric model, embedding key processes and information into Software Innovation's CRM product and integrating it with their accounting and production information from GrowthPower. The finished solution will provide a coordinated view of customers and enable Melcor to improve responsiveness, customer satisfaction and effectiveness in their customer-facing interactions.

Pivital Solutions Acquires ADDVantage Technology

Newton, NH-Pivital Solutions, provider of consulting and technical services to HP 3000 users, has acquired all rights to the user-acclaimed ADDVantage & report-producing package. As its first step, Pivital will provide support services to the existing ADDVantage Professional customer base, including an upgrade to accommodate Crystal Reports® version 8.0. Pivital is creating a web-based library of preprogrammed reports, giving users ready-to-go options at no charge.

Soon to come is the ADDVantage Warehouse-a package that will copy daily data from your HP 3000 to a SQL Server® database for off-line reporting. This new, exciting package will enable users to access the real power of Crystal Reports for the first time and will reduce processing requirements on the HP 3000. ADDVantage Warehouse will continue to include the Professional versions' real-time reporting capability directly on the HP 3000. Steve Suraci of Pivital Solutions is excited about the planned developments. "We're going to add ADDVantage Archive next," says Steve. "The Archive version will actively archive data in a SQL Server database, freeing up valuable space on the HP 3000." The development with the most potential in Pivital Solutions plans is ADDVantage Web. This ambitious project will begin by making specific report information available on your web server. "Ultimately," says Steve, "this package is going to allow your customers to interact with you over the Internet; to place orders for standard product, for example."

ADDVantage was first developed by PowerCrew, Inc., a software development company that was purchased by Condor Technology Solutions. Pivital Solutions acquired the rights to ADDVantage in June, 2000. The ADDVantage Professional version includes MiniSoft's ODBC drivers; a data dictionary that standardizes database formats, naming, and conventions; and Crystal Reports, Seagate Software's award winning report writing package. ADDVantage customers report that it enables them to easily produce and share reports that contain the information they need to make informed decisions. They go on to explain how ADDVantage leverages their data into one of their most powerful and valuable assets.

This partnership allows Pivital Solutions to offer market connectivity, electronic forms, and client server and web development tools for Hewlett Packard®, UNIX®, IBM®, and NT® computer platforms specifically tailored to their client's unique applications.
